ABOUT OUR PRESENTER

Nick Brewer

Nick Brewer is the founder and visionary behind Moby, an independent telecommunications company revolutionizing the industry by delivering customer-focused internet, TV, and phone services through its own fiber-optic network. With over a decade of experience at Shaw, Brewer’s journey into entrepreneurship began with a desire to offer more choice and superior service to customers.

Recognizing a gap in the market for localized, responsive telecommunications services, Brewer assembled a team that shared his vision for innovation and community-building. Under his leadership, Moby has grown from an idea to a thriving company that serves residential and business customers throughout Calgary.

Brewer’s approach to business is rooted in authenticity and accessibility, ensuring that Moby’s customers aren’t burdened with contracts and always receive support from a local, knowledgeable team. His commitment to community is evident in Moby’s special pricing for seniors and residents in subsidized housing, as well as the company’s focus on building relationships with municipalities and local businesses.

When he’s not pushing the boundaries of telecommunications, Brewer enjoys spending time with his family and embracing the free-spirited nature that inspired his career shift.
