ABOUT OUR PRESENTER

Kai Thomas - CIP Office TechnologyKai Thomas

Kai started his career working with high-value clients in downtown Calgary. In Australia, he worked under a demanding chef in a seaside resort town, then as a boat salesman in the Lower Mainland. He has spent seven years in mines in Fort McMurray and on Baffin Island.

Kai is a tech-head at heart, he has programmed his whole life in a variety of languages and usually is the first to test out new tech. Kai most interested in no-code tools, AI and immersive technologies. Kai played around with GPT-4 and has been impressed with how far AI has come, and what lies ahead for us as humans.

Kai wants to make Calgary the next tech hub of the West. Kai has several ambitious ideas on how to make that possible.
